IRS Antibodies

Santa Cruz Biotechnology features a diverse variety of IRS Antibodies for studying insulin receptor substrates. IRS Antibodies are compatible with multiple research applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Insulin receptor substrates mediate the effects of insulin and other growth factors, influencing key cellular processes such as glucose metabolism, cell growth, and differentiation. IRS dysregulation is often implicated in metabolic disorders, including obesity and type 2 diabetes, making insulin receptor substrates significant targets for therapeutic intervention and research. Researchers can investigate insulin signaling pathways using specific monoclonal antibodies targeting different IRS isoforms. Understanding IRS function and regulation contributes to knowledge about insulin resistance and metabolic disease development. Advanced detection methods, including horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) conjugates, enable precise visualization of IRS localization and interactions. Santa Cruz Biotechnology monoclonal IRS antibodies support researchers worldwide in advancing our understanding of metabolic health and disease mechanisms.
