SULT2A5 Activators

SULT2A5 Activators encompass a range of chemical compounds that indirectly augment the functional activity of SULT2A5 through diverse signaling pathways and cellular processes. Compounds like Resveratrol, Curcumin, Sulforaphane, Ellagic Acid, and Caffeic Acid primarily exert their effects through modulation of the Nrf2 pathway. This activation results in an upregulated expression of phase II detoxifying enzymes, including SULT2A5, thereby enhancing its sulfotransferase activity. This is crucial as SULT2A5 plays a significant role in the sulfation of various substrates, a key phase II detoxification reaction.
