SMEK1 Activators are distinct chemical entities that are designed to intensify the functional performance of SMEK1, a protein that plays a pivotal role in cellular processes including cell growth, apoptosis, and metabolism. These activators function through several direct and indirect pathways. Direct enhancement of SMEK1's functionality occurs through the inhibition of protein phosphatases such as PP2A, PP1, and PP4.
