IL-10 Activators
IL-10 Activators represent a diverse class of chemicals that facilitate the upregulation or increased functionality of interleukin-10 (IL-10), an important anti-inflammatory cytokine. For instance, dexamethasone functions by activating the glucocorticoid receptor, while 1,25-Dihydroxyvitamin D3 interacts with the vitamin D receptor (VDR) to modulate IL-10 expression. On the other hand, compounds like resveratrol and curcumin target cellular enzymes and transcription factors such as SIRT1 and PPAR-γ, respectively, to upregulate IL-10 expression.
