Anti-IL-10 Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b (kappa light chain) IL-10 antibody provided at 200 µg/ml
raised against amino acids 19-178 representing mature IL-10 of human origin
IL-10 Antibody (E-10) is recommended for detection of IL-10 of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA
Anti-IL-10 Antibody (E-10) is available conjugated to agarose for IP; HRP for WB, IHC(P) and ELISA; and to either phycoerythrin or FITC for IF, IHC(P) and FCM
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 488, Alexa Fluor® 546, Alexa Fluor® 594 or Alexa Fluor® 647 for WB (RGB), IF, IHC(P) and FCM, and for use with RGB fluorescent imaging systems, such as iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems
also available conjugated to Alexa Fluor® 680 or Alexa Fluor® 790 for WB (NIR), IF and FCM; for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR®Odyssey®, iBright™ FL1000, FluorChem™, Typhoon, Azure and other comparable systems

IL-10 Antibody (E-10) is a high quality monoclonal IL-10 antibody (also designated IL10 antibody, Interleukin-10 antibody or CSIF antibody) suitable for the detection of the IL-10 protein of human origin. IL-10 Antibody (E-10) is available as both the non-conjugated anti-IL-10 antibody form, as well as multiple conjugated forms of anti-IL-10 antibody, including agarose, HRP, PE, FITC and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Interleukin-10, or IL-10, is a 178 amino acid protein that is primarily secreted by TH2 clones. IL-10 has dual functions, the first of which is the suppression of cytokine production by TH1 clones responding to antigen presented by monocyte and macrophage antigen presenting cells (APCs). The second function consists of the inhibition of response of cytokine targeted cells, possibly by the downregulation of CD25 (the IL-2 receptor) on macrophages and B lymphocytes. Human and murine IL-10 exhibit 81% sequence identity at the amino acid level and share 73% identity at the cDNA level. Both human and murine IL-10 are acid-liable and exist as non-covalently-linked homodimers in solution. IL-10 exerts its biological activity through the IL-10 receptor (IL-10R), a glycoprotein whose expression can be induced in cultured macrophages and fibroblasts by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) stimulation. IL-10 expression has been shown to be elevated in HIV-1 infected individuals and has been implicated in the progression of the disease.

Incorrect amount sentHi I ordered this MAb as a free sample and the vial said 10 ug in 50 ul. I used it once for a western blot (15ul) that ended up not working (probably for my own reasons though). Then when I went to try again, there was none left. Not sure if the full 50 ul was supplied, but it was extremely disappointing to have done all the work of making a second gel and running it only to find that I didn't have enough antibody.
