DIP2A Activators are a collection of chemical compounds that indirectly promote the functional activity of DIP2A through diverse and specific cellular signaling pathways. Forskolin, Rolipram, and IBMX enhance intracellular cAMP, leading to the activation of PKA, which can phosphorylate target proteins, including DIP2A or those within its functional network, thereby augmenting DIP2A's activity. Similarly, PDE5 inhibitors such as Sildenafil and Zaprinast elevate both cAMP and cGMP levels, which could indirectly stimulate DIP2A activity by activating related PKA and PKG pathways, or by modulating proteins that interact with DIP2A. The elevation of intracellular calcium by the ionophores A23187 and Ionomycin is another avenue that could potentiate DIP2A activity.
In addition to these modulators of cyclic nucleotides and calcium, there are compounds that influence DIP2A through alterations in protein acetylation and kinase activity. Resveratrol, by activating SIRT1, can lead to the deacetylation of proteins, which might enhance DIP2A activity. Piceatannol and LY294002 act as kinase inhibitors, with the former inhibiting Syk kinase and the latter inhibiting PI3K, which might result in an enhanced DIP2A function by modifying the signaling pathways these kinases regulate. PD98059, an MEK inhibitor, may also indirectly foster DIP2A activity by adjusting the dynamics of the ERK/MAPK signaling pathway. These compounds, through their targeted biochemical actions, collectively serve as indirect activators of DIP2A by influencing the signaling cascades and cellular processes that can lead to the enhanced functionality of DIP2A.

Forskolin | 66575-29-9 | sc-3562 sc-3562A sc-3562B sc-3562C sc-3562D | 5 mg 50 mg 1 g 2 g 5 g | $78.00 $153.00 $740.00 $1413.00 $2091.00 | 73
By elevating cAMP levels in cells, Forskolin activates Protein Kinase A (PKA). PKA then can phosphorylate various proteins, potentially increasing DIP2A activity if DIP2A is a substrate for PKA or is regulated by PKA-phosphorylated proteins.
Rolipram | 61413-54-5 | sc-3563 sc-3563A | 5 mg 50 mg | $77.00 $216.00 | 18
Rolipram is a selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterases, particularly PDE4, which increases intracellular cAMP levels. The subsequent activation of PKA could enhance the activity of DIP2A by phosphorylation or by modulating the signaling environment that affects DIP2A function.
IBMX | 28822-58-4 | sc-201188 sc-201188B sc-201188A | 200 mg 500 mg 1 g | $260.00 $350.00 $500.00 | 34
As a non-selective inhibitor of phosphodiesterases, IBMX raises cAMP levels, leading to PKA activation. This, in turn, might enhance DIP2A activity through direct or indirect interactions with PKA signaling pathways.
(−)-Epigallocatechin Gallate | 989-51-5 | sc-200802 sc-200802A sc-200802B sc-200802C sc-200802D sc-200802E | 10 mg 50 mg 100 mg 500 mg 1 g 10 g | $43.00 $73.00 $126.00 $243.00 $530.00 $1259.00 | 11
EGCG is a polyphenol that can modulate multiple signaling pathways, including those involving kinase activity. If DIP2A is part of these pathways, or is modulated by kinases in these pathways, EGCG could enhance its activity.
