Smad7 Antibody (B-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Smad7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Smad7 antibody (B-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Smad7 protein plays a crucial role in regulating TGFβ (transforming growth factor beta) signaling pathways, acting as a negative regulator that inhibits phosphorylation and activation of other Smad proteins, particularly Smad2 and Smad3.
