Musclin Inhibitors

Musclin inhibitors refer to a class of compounds designed to inhibit the activity of the musclin protein, a muscle-derived hormone also known as osteocrin (OSTN). Musclin is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle and bone, playing crucial roles in bone growth, muscle function, and metabolic regulation. Inhibitors of musclin would therefore be expected to impact these physiological processes.

Musclin inhibitors would include compounds that directly block the interaction of musclin with its target receptor or downstream signaling components.
