SEE ALSO...

ZAP-70 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 light chain antibody that detects ZAP-70 in human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ZAP-70, a crucial tyrosine kinase, plays a significant role in T cell receptor signaling, which is essential for T lymphocyte activation and subsequent immune responses. Located primarily in the cytoplasm of T cells, ZAP-70 is recruited to the T cell receptor complex upon antigen recognition, where ZAP-70 becomes phosphorylated and activates downstream signaling pathways that lead to T cell proliferation and differentiation. The importance of ZAP-70 in immune function is underscored by ZAP-70′s association with severe combined immunodeficiency when mutated, highlighting ZAP-70′s critical role in maintaining effective immune responses. ZAP-70 (G-4) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying T cell signaling and implications in immunological disorders, providing insights into the mechanisms that govern T cell activation and function.

How can ZAP-70 (G-4): sc-17760 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-17760 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-17760 FITC).
