    SEE ALSO...

PDE6H Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects PDE6H in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-PDE6H antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PDE6H plays a critical role in the phototransduction pathway, specifically in the retina, where PDE6H is involved in the conversion of light signals into electrical signals, a process essential for vision. Mutations or dysregulation of PDE6H can lead to retinal diseases, highlighting PDE6H′s importance in maintaining visual function. PDE6H is localized in the photoreceptor cells of the retina, where PDE6H interacts with other proteins such as phosphodiesterase 6 (PDE6) and guanylate cyclase, which are vital for the proper functioning of phototransduction. Understanding the interactions and functions of PDE6H is crucial for developing therapeutic strategies for retinal disorders.

Are there any issues with using sc-398478: PDE6H (G-2) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

    Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-398478 conjugates.
