SEE ALSO...

FGF-15 (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects FGF-15 of mouse and rat origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-FGF-15 antibody (G-5) is available non-conjugated, as well as conjugated to agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Acidic and basic fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) are members of a family of multifunctional polypeptide growth factors that stimulate proliferation of cells of mesenchymal, epithelial and neuroectodermal origin. FGFs act by binding and activating specific cell surface receptors containing an extracellular ligand-binding region with three immunoglobulin-like domains, a transmembrane domain and a cytoplasmic tyrosine kinase domain. FGF-15, a secreted protein expressed mainly in the developing brain, is important for cell division and patterning regulation in specific embryonic brain regions.
