RNF146 Activators

Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide, activates RNF146 by increasing its expression and promoting its enzymatic activity through its role as a precursor for NAD+. NAD+ is a cofactor required for RNF146-mediated poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation, and nicotinamide ensures an ample supply of NAD+ to support RNF146-dependent cellular processes. Quercetin, a flavonoid abundant in fruits and vegetables, indirectly activates RNF146 by modulating the Nrf2 signaling pathway. By activating Nrf2, quercetin upregulates RNF146 expression and enhances its enzymatic activity, leading to increased poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation processes mediated by RNF146.

Resveratrol, a natural polyphenolic compound found in grapes and berries, activates RNF146 by increasing its expression and enzymatic activity. Resveratrol promotes the binding of RNF146 to its substrates, facilitating poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation processes mediated by this protein. Caffeine, a stimulant found in coffee and tea, activates RNF146 by upregulating its expression and promoting its enzymatic activity. Caffeine enhances the binding of RNF146 to its target proteins, thereby facilitating their poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation and influencing downstream cellular processes. Melatonin, a hormone involved in regulating sleep-wake cycles, activates RNF146 by increasing its expression and promoting its enzymatic activity. Melatonin enhances the poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation processes mediated by RNF146, thereby influencing various cellular functions.
