POFUT1 Activators

POFUT1 activators refer to a class of chemical compounds that stimulate the enzymatic activity of POFUT1, a protein encoded by the POFUT1 gene in humans. This protein is a member of the glycosyltransferase 2 family and is predominantly found in the endoplasmic reticulum. The full name of the protein is Protein O-fucosyltransferase 1, and its main role is the addition of the fucose molecule to specific serine or threonine residues in the epidermal growth factor-like repeats and thrombospondin type-1 repeats of numerous proteins.
