KChIP4 Activators

The chemicals that can be classified as KChIP4 activators would primarily function through the modulation of intracellular calcium levels or the cAMP signaling pathway. Calcium dynamics are a central aspect of the activity of KChIP4, as it is a calcium-binding protein. Chemicals that alter calcium homeostasis, such as calcium channel blockers and ionophores, can thereby indirectly influence the function of KChIP4 by altering its calcium-dependent interactions.
