These specific integrin combinations are involved in various cellular processes, including adhesion, signaling, and migration.

Integrin β3 inhibitors are molecules specifically designed to target and modulate the activity of integrins containing the β3 subunit. Their mode of action primarily involves hindering the binding interactions between the integrin and its natural ligands in the ECM, such as fibronectin, vitronectin, and fibrinogen. By preventing these interactions, Integrin β3 inhibitors can disrupt the downstream signaling events and cellular responses mediated by these integrins.
