ARNO Activators

ARNO Activators comprise a diverse group of chemical compounds that enhance the functional activity of ARNO through various signaling pathways, focusing on its role as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) for ARF proteins. Forskolin, by increasing intracellular cAMP levels, activates Protein Kinase A (PKA), which can phosphorylate substrates influencing ARNO, thus augmenting its GEF activity for membrane trafficking.
