SEE ALSO...

WDR78 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects WDR78 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-WDR78 antibody (E-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. WDR78, also known as WD repeat domain 78, is an 848 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of six WD repeats, which are structural motifs that typically form a propeller-like tertiary structure. This unique structure facilitates WDR78′s involvement in various cellular processes, including chromatin assembly, cell cycle regulation, signal transduction, RNA processing, apoptosis, and vesicular trafficking. WDR78 is encoded on human chromosome 1, which encompasses a large portion of the human genome and contains over 3,000 genes, highlighting WDR78′s significance in genetic regulation and cellular function.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390401 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Trav11
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
