    SEE ALSO...

TORC2 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TORC2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TORC2 (G-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The TORC (transducer of regulated cAMP response element-binding) proteins, which include TORC1 and TORC2, play a crucial role as coactivators of the cAMP response element-binding protein (CREB), facilitating the transcription of genes in response to hormonal signals. TORC2 is primarily located in the nucleus, where TORC2 is involved in the regulation of gene expression by modulating CREB activity. Nuclear localization is essential for TORC2 function, as direct influence on transcriptional machinery and response to cellular signals impacts processes such as metabolism, cell growth, and differentiation. TORC protein translocation from the nucleus is a critical step in activating CRE-mediated gene expression, highlighting spatial regulation importance in cellular signaling pathways.
