SEE ALSO...

Rsk Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rsk protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rsk (B-4) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Rsk family of proteins, including Rsk-1, Rsk-2, Rsk-3, and the highly homologous Rsk-4, are intracellular serine/threonine kinases that serve as crucial signaling intermediates in response to ligand-activated receptor tyrosine kinases. Rsk-4 is predominantly expressed in brain and kidney, playing a significant role in normal neuronal development and highlighting importance in neurogenesis and potential implications in neurological disorders. Each Rsk family member possesses two non-identical complete kinase catalytic domains, a unique structural feature enhancing functional versatility in cellular signaling pathways. Rsk family members share similarities with other kinases like p70 S6 kinase, suggesting related regulatory roles and emphasizing interconnectedness in cellular processes.

Are there any issues with using sc-74575: Rsk (B-4) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: AbPolly
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-74575 conjugates.
