Rsk Antibody (B-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rsk protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rsk (B-4) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Rsk family of proteins, including Rsk-1, Rsk-2, Rsk-3, and the highly homologous Rsk-4, are intracellular serine/threonine kinases that serve as crucial signaling intermediates in response to ligand-activated receptor tyrosine kinases. Rsk-4 is predominantly expressed in brain and kidney, playing a significant role in normal neuronal development and highlighting importance in neurogenesis and potential implications in neurological disorders.
