SEE ALSO...

Raftlin Antibody (E-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Raftlin protein of mouse origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Raftlin (E-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Raftlin, also known as RFTN1 (raftlin, lipid raft linker 1), plays a crucial role in organizing and functioning of lipid rafts, which are specialized membrane microdomains that facilitate B-cell activation during B-cell receptor signaling. Raftlin (E-11) monoclonal antibody targets a protein primarily located in the cell membrane, where Raftlin acts as a lipid anchor, essential for the assembly and maintenance of these rafts. The proper functioning of lipid rafts is vital for effective immune responses, as these specialized structures serve as platforms for clustering signaling molecules, thereby enhancing signal transduction pathway efficiency. The gene encoding Raftlin is situated on human chromosome 3, a region associated with various genetic disorders and cancer-related genes, underscoring Raftlin′s importance in both normal cellular function and disease processes.
