POLR2J1/2/3 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects POLR2J1, POLR2J2, and POLR2J3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). POLR2J1/2/3 (G-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. POLR2J proteins, which are subunits of RNA polymerase II, play a crucial role in the transcription of protein-coding genes, a process essential for gene expression and cellular function. These proteins are located in the nucleus, where they form part of the transcription machinery that interacts with promoter regions of genes, facilitating the recruitment of transcription factors and other regulatory elements. Proper functioning of POLR2J proteins is vital, as any disruption in their activity can lead to impaired transcription and has been associated with various diseases, including cancer. Understanding the dynamics of POLR2J1, POLR2J2, and POLR2J3 is important for elucidating the mechanisms of gene regulation and potential therapeutic targets for transcription-related disorders.
