Parkin Antibody (PRK8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that targets Parkin, also known as PRKN, PARK2, or parkin RBR E3 ubiquitin protein ligase, with confirmed reactivity in human, mouse, and rat samples. Parkin is a 465-amino acid E3 ubiquitin ligase encoded by the PARK2 gene, essential for the ubiquitination process, which tags proteins for degradation, maintaining cellular homeostasis by eliminating damaged or misfolded proteins.
