SEE ALSO...

PAR-3 Antibody (8E8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects PAR-3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and flow cytometry (FCM). Anti-PAR-3 antibody (8E8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing versatility for different experimental needs. PAR-3, a member of the protease-activated receptor family, plays a crucial role in mediating cellular responses to thrombin, a key serine protease involved in blood coagulation and platelet activation. PAR-3 is primarily located on the cell surface, where PAR-3 functions as a G protein-coupled receptor, facilitating signal transduction pathways that lead to increased intracellular calcium levels and subsequent cellular responses. This localization allows PAR-3 to rapidly respond to proteolytic cleavage by thrombin, thereby influencing processes such as thrombosis and mitogenesis. PAR-3′s interaction with other receptors, such as PAR-1 and PAR-2, further underscores PAR-3′s importance in the complex signaling networks that regulate hemostasis and inflammation. Understanding PAR-3′s function and location is essential for elucidating PAR-3′s role in various physiological and pathological processes, making PAR-3 monoclonal antibody (8E8) an invaluable tool for researchers studying these mechanisms.
