Nrdp1 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Nrdp1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Nrdp1 antibody (A-6) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Nrdp1, also known as RNF41, SBBI03, or FLRF, is a 317 amino acid protein characterized by one RING-type zinc finger and one SIAH-type zinc finger, which are crucial for its role as an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase. Nrdp1 is predominantly expressed in testis, ovary, and prostate, where Nrdp1 plays a vital role in the ubiquitination pathway, facilitating the degradation of specific substrates. Nrdp1 interacts with ErbB-3 and UBPY, targeting these proteins for proteasomal degradation, which is essential for regulating cellular signaling pathways and maintaining protein homeostasis. The RING-type zinc finger motif, a conserved cysteine-rich domain capable of binding two zinc atoms, is significant as this domain is commonly found in various viral and eukaryotic proteins, underscoring Nrdp1′s importance in cellular processes related to protein degradation and signaling.
