SEE ALSO...

MKP-1 Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that targets mitogen-activated protein kinase phosphatase 1 (MKP-1), also known as dual-specificity phosphatase 1 (DUSP1), in human, mouse, and rat samples. MKP-1 is a dual-specificity phosphatase that dephosphorylates threonine and tyrosine residues on mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPKs), thereby inactivating them and serving as a critical negative regulator of MAPK signaling pathways. This regulation is essential for controlling cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, and apoptosis. By modulating MAPK activity, MKP-1 plays a pivotal role in maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress stimuli. MKP-1 (E-6) antibody was generated against amino acids 321-365 near the C-terminus of mouse MKP-1 and is validated for applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Given its specificity and versatility, anti-MKP-1 antibody (E-6) is a valuable tool for researchers investigating the function of MKP-1 in various cellular contexts and its implications in diseases where MAPK signaling is dysregulated.
