L-Selectin Antibody (DREG55) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects L-Selectin in human samples through immunofluorescence (IF) and flow cytometry (FCM) applications. L-Selectin, also known as LECAM-1 or CD62L, plays a crucial role in the immune response by facilitating the adhesion of leukocytes to the endothelium, which is essential for the migration of immune cells to sites of inflammation or injury. L-Selectin is predominantly expressed on the surface of naive T cells, B cells, and various types of leukocytes, including monocytes, neutrophils, and eosinophils. L-Selectin′s ability to interact with specific carbohydrates on activated endothelial cells is vital for the initial steps of leukocyte recruitment, making L-Selectin a key player in the inflammatory response. Furthermore, L-Selectin′s interactions with other selectins, such as P-Selectin and E-Selectin, highlight L-Selectin′s importance in mediating complex cellular interactions during immune responses. Anti-L-Selectin antibody (DREG55) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying immune cell dynamics and the mechanisms underlying inflammation and immune regulation.

How can L-Selectin (DREG55): sc-18905 mouse monoclonal antibody be used for double or triple staining, if the other primary antibodies are also raised in mouse?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
In this case, we recommend using a directly conjugated mouse monoclonal primary antibody. This antibody is available conjugated to phycoerythrin (sc-18905 PE) or fluoroscein (sc-18905 FITC).
