    SEE ALSO...

KCTD14 Antibody (A-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects KCTD14 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). KCTD14 (A-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. KCTD14 protein consists of 255 amino acids and features a BTB (Broad-Complex, Tramtrack and Bric a brac) domain, also known as POZ (Poxvirus and Zinc finger) domain, that plays a crucial role in homodimerization and is characterized by multiple kelch repeats and C2H2-type zinc fingers. This structural feature suggests KCTD14 involvement in transcription regulation through chromatin structure and function modulation, influencing gene expression. KCTD14 gene is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with various genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting KCTD14′s importance in both normal physiology and disease states.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-393876 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
