SEE ALSO...

Integrin αIIb/β3 Antibody (A 2A9/6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody designed to detect integrin αIIb/β3, also known as GPIIb/IIIa or CD41/CD61, which is predominantly expressed on the surface of human platelets. Anti-integrin αIIb/β3 antibody (A 2A9/6) is expertly raised against normal human platelets, ensuring precise binding and reliable detection across various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). Integrin αIIb/β3 is a crucial heterodimeric receptor composed of αIIb and β3 subunits, playing a vital role in platelet aggregation and thrombus formation by binding to fibrinogen and other extracellular matrix proteins. This interaction is essential for stabilizing platelet plugs during hemostasis, making integrin αIIb/β3 a key target in studying blood clotting disorders and cardiovascular diseases. Moreover, integrin αIIb/β3 functions as a signaling receptor influencing cellular processes such as growth, differentiation, migration, and apoptosis, highlighting significance in both normal physiological and pathological contexts. Integrin αIIb/β3 monoclonal antibody (A 2A9/6) is available in both non-conjugated form and multiple conjugated forms, including phycoerythrin (PE) and fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), providing versatile options for researchers to explore multifaceted roles of integrin αIIb/β3 in cellular adhesion, cytoskeletal organization, and signal transduction pathways. Anti-integrin αIIb/β3 antibody (A 2A9/6) supports advancements in understanding platelet biology and developing therapeutic strategies for managing thrombotic diseases.
