Integrin αIIb activators are compounds that stimulate the activity or expression of Integrin αIIb, a protein subunit that combines with the β3 subunit to form the integrin αIIbβ3 receptor. Integrins are a family of transmembrane receptors that mediate cell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix interactions, playing crucial roles in various cellular processes, including adhesion, migration, and signal transduction.
