    SEE ALSO...

ICADL Antibody (C-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects ICADL protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-ICADL antibody (C-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ICADL (C-4) monoclonal antibody recognizes a member of the CED/ICE family of cysteine proteases, which plays a crucial role in apoptosis by mediating specific substrate proteolysis during programmed cell death. Key targets include poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP), gelsolin, and DFF-45/ICAD, each contributing uniquely to the apoptotic cascade. CPP32 cleaves PARP into a signature fragment essential for DNA damage response. CPP32-mediated cleavage activates gelsolin to sever actin filaments, enabling cytoskeletal reorganization during apoptosis. CPP32 also activates DFF-45/ICAD through cleavage, highlighting ICADL′s significance in regulating apoptosis and cellular homeostasis.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376044 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
