    IARS2 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects IARS2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). IARS2 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. IARS2, also known as isoleucine-tRNA synthetase, plays a crucial role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the attachment of isoleucine to its corresponding tRNA, a process essential for accurate translation of the genetic code into functional proteins. This enzyme is localized within the mitochondrial matrix, where IARS2 ensures proper functioning of mitochondrial protein synthesis, vital for cellular energy production and metabolism. IARS2 belongs to the class I mitochondrial aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase family and features a characteristic Rossman fold, a structural motif that facilitates nucleotide binding. IARS2 is encoded on human chromosome one, the largest chromosome in the human genome, which underscores IARS2′s significance in cellular function and genetic stability.
