HSP 90 Antibody (AC-16) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects HSP 90 in mouse, rat, human, avian, and rabbit samples through applications such as western blotting (WB) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HSP 90 antibody (AC-16) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. HSP 90, a crucial molecular chaperone, plays a significant role in protein folding, stabilization, and degradation, which is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress. HSP 90 is predominantly located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, where HSP 90 assists in proper folding of client proteins, including steroid hormone receptors and kinases, thereby influencing various signaling pathways. HSP 90′s ability to form complexes with client proteins is essential for functional regulation, and HSP 90′s interaction with co-chaperones like HSP 70 and p23 further enhances chaperoning capabilities. Dysregulation of HSP 90 has been implicated in several diseases, including cancer, making HSP 90 a critical target for therapeutic intervention.
