SEE ALSO...

HSP 90 Antibody (4F10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects HSP 90 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-HSP 90 antibody (4F10) is available as a non-conjugated format. HSP 90 protein plays a crucial role as a molecular chaperone, assisting in the proper folding and stabilization of various client proteins, including steroid hormone receptors and kinases, which are vital for cellular signaling and stress responses. HSP 90′s ability to form complexes with other proteins, such as the glucocorticoid receptor and various kinases, underscores its significance in maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating key signaling pathways. Through facilitating correct protein conformation, HSP 90 ensures functionality and provides protection during cellular stress, making HSP 90 a critical target for therapeutic interventions aimed at modulating stress responses in disease contexts.

Hello, I was wondering what are two bands presented on your Western image. Thanks

Asked by: Sanja
Thank you for your question. The Western blot data you are referring to is in a human HSP 90 transfected 293T whole cell lysate. This data is not representative of endogenous protein expression, and the multiple bands observed may be the result of incomplete products of translation. The expected molecular weight for endogenous HSP 90 is ~ 90 kDa, and if multiple bands are observed this may also be due to post-translational modifications of the protein.

This is Arun from india i am a research scholar and I am interested to buy this antibody before that I would like to test this antibody so how can i apply for free sample?

Asked by: Arun
Thank you for your question. We are not currently offering this specific antibody, HSP 90 (4F10): sc-69703, in a free sample size. As a possible alternative, we would recommend either our, HSP 90α (F-2): sc-515081, or our HSP 90α/β (F-8): sc-13119, both of which are available in a free sample size. Please contact one of our authorized distributors in India to request a sample. https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/distributors
