SEE ALSO...

HMG-1 Antibody (D-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects HMG-1 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). HMG-1 (D-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. High mobility group (HMG) proteins, such as HMG-1, play a crucial role in regulating gene expression and chromatin structure. HMG-1 binds to DNA and induces significant alterations in its architecture, including bending and unwinding of the double helix, which facilitates transcription factor access to target genes. HMG-1 interacts with various transcription factors, including Oct-2 and members of the NFκB family, highlighting its importance in transcriptional activation. Post-translational modifications, such as phosphorylation, enhance HMG-1′s transcriptional activity, emphasizing its role in cellular responses to stress and inflammation. With versatile applications and significant biological functions, anti-HMG-1 antibody (D-3) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers studying gene regulation and chromatin dynamics in human cells.
