    SEE ALSO...

GAP1-InsP4 BP Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects GAP1-InsP4 BP in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). GAP1-InsP4 BP, also known as Ras p21 protein activator (GTPase-activating protein) 3, is an 829-amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular signaling by binding phospholipids in both calcium-dependent and -independent manners. GAP1-InsP4 BP is a member of the Ras GTPase-activating protein family, which consists of four distinct genes, including GAP1(m), GAP1-InsP4 BP, MRASAL, and KIAA0538. The structural composition of GAP1-InsP4 BP includes an N-terminal tandem C2 domain, a GAP-related domain, and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, with the PH domains being particularly important for membrane targeting as these domains facilitate the binding of specific phospholipids. Following the stimulation of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate production, GAP1-InsP4 BP selectively binds inositol phosphates, which are then directed to the plasma membrane, underscoring GAP1-InsP4 BP′s vital role in regulating cellular responses to external signals. GAP1-InsP4 BP (E-3) antibody is an essential tool for researchers investigating the intricate mechanisms of cell signaling and membrane dynamics.
