GAP1-InsP4 BP Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects GAP1-InsP4 BP in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-GAP1-InsP4 BP antibody (E-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. GAP1-InsP4 BP, also known as Ras p21 protein activator 3, is a crucial 829-amino acid protein that plays a significant role in cellular signaling by binding phospholipids in both calcium-dependent and -independent manners. GAP1-InsP4 BP belongs to the Ras GTPase-activating protein family, which consists of four distinct genes, including GAP1(m), GAP1-InsP4 BP, MRASAL, and KIAA0538. GAP1-InsP4 BP includes an N-terminal tandem C2 domain, a GAP-related domain, and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, with the PH domain being essential for membrane targeting through specific phospholipid binding. Following the stimulation of phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate production, GAP1-InsP4 BP selectively binds inositol phosphates, facilitating their localization to the plasma membrane, which is vital for the regulation of various signaling pathways and cellular responses.
