ERK 5 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ERK 5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ERK 5 antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ERK 5 plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in regulating gene expression, cell proliferation, and differentiation, which are vital for normal cellular function and response to external stimuli. ERK 5 is localized primarily in the nucleus, where ERK 5 influences transcriptional regulation by phosphorylating specific transcription factors, thereby modulating the expression of genes involved in cell cycle progression and survival.
