CUL-1 Antibody (D-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects CUL-1 of mouse, rat, and human origin through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). CUL-1 (D-5) antibody is offered in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase, phycoerythrin, fluorescein isothiocyanate, and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CUL-1 plays a crucial role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, functioning as a key component of the SCF (Skp1/CUL-1/F-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, which is essential for the targeted degradation of specific proteins. This process is vital for regulating the cell cycle, as CUL-1 mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of critical cell cycle regulators such as cyclin D, p21, and cyclin E.
