SEE ALSO...

CEACAM1 Antibody (E-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects CEACAM1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-CEACAM1 antibody (E-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. CEACAM1, also known as carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 1, is a 526 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cell adhesion and signaling processes. CEACAM1 (E-1) monoclonal antibody is particularly important due to involvement in the modulation of immune responses and potential role in tumor suppression, as CEACAM1 is underexpressed in colorectal cancers. CEACAM1 exists in several alternatively spliced isoforms, some membrane-bound while others secreted, allowing for diverse functional roles in different cellular contexts. CEACAM1 contains one immunoglobulin-like V-type domain and three C2-type domains, which contribute to structural integrity and functional versatility. CEACAM1′s ability to interact with various ligands and other proteins underscores significance in cellular communication and maintenance of tissue architecture, making anti-CEACAM1 antibody (E-1) an essential tool for researchers studying cancer biology and immune regulation.
