Cdc45 Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Cdc45 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Cdc45 plays a crucial role in the initiation of DNA replication, functioning as a vital component of the pre-replicative complex that ensures accurate duplication of the genome during the cell cycle. Proper localization of Cdc45 at the replication fork is essential for recruiting other key proteins, including the MCM helicase complex, which unwinds DNA strands, allowing for the synthesis of new DNA. Disruption of Cdc45 function can lead to replication stress and genomic instability, which are hallmarks of various cancers. Anti-Cdc45 antibody (E-3) provides reliable detection and quantification of Cdc45, facilitating research into cell cycle regulation and cancer biology.
