SEE ALSO...

Cdc45 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 kappa light chain antibody that detects Cdc45 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Cdc45 antibody (G-12) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cdc45 protein plays a crucial role in the initiation of DNA replication, acting as a vital component of the pre-replicative complex. Cdc45 interacts with other essential proteins, such as Cdc6 and the MCM (minichromosome maintenance) complex, to ensure that DNA replication occurs accurately and efficiently. This function is particularly important because errors in DNA replication can lead to genomic instability, which is a hallmark of many cancers. By facilitating the loading of the MCM complex onto DNA, Cdc45 helps to regulate the transition from the G1 phase to the S phase of the cell cycle, thereby ensuring proper cell division and function. Cdc45 (G-12) antibody detection of this critical protein makes it an invaluable tool for researchers studying cell cycle regulation and the mechanisms underlying DNA replication.
