CD38 Antibody (HB-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects CD38 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). CD38 is a type II integral membrane glycoprotein predominantly expressed on early B and T cell lineages, activated B and T cells, and various other immune cells, including thymocytes, pre-B cells, and Ig-secreting plasma cells. CD38′s presence on these cells is crucial for immune response regulation, as CD38 functions as a NAD glycohydrolase, facilitating the production of calcium-mobilizing metabolites like cyclic adenosine diphosphate ribose (cADPR).
