SEE ALSO...

ARL5B Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects ARL5B in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-ARL5B antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ARL5B, also known as ADP-ribosylation factor-like protein 5B or ARL8, is a 179 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by participating in vesicular trafficking pathways, which are essential for the transport of proteins and lipids within cells. ARL5B is predominantly expressed in the brain, heart, lung, cartilage, and kidney, but is absent in the spleen, highlighting specific functional roles in various tissues. ARL5B shares 80% sequence identity with ARL5 and exists in two isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity. ARL5B involvement in the activation of phospholipase D, a key enzyme in lipid signaling pathways, influences cellular responses to external stimuli.
