3PGDH Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b antibody that detects 3PGDH in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). 3PGDH, or 3-phosphoglycerate dehydrogenase, is a crucial enzyme involved in the biosynthesis of L-serine, an amino acid that serves as a vital trophic factor for neuronal survival and development. 3PGDH consists of 544 amino acids and is expressed in various tissues, with two predominant mRNA transcripts: a 2.1 kb transcript that is highly expressed in the prostate, testis, ovary, brain, liver, kidney, and pancreas, and a 710 bp transcript that is predominantly found in the heart and skeletal muscle.
