Ste20 (sterile 20) Serine/Threonine Kinase (STK) Inhibidores

The GCK (Germinal Center Kinase) Group III family of kinases falls under the larger Ste20 (sterile 20) superfamily of serine/threonine kinases. This group is characterized by a distinct structural and functional profile, setting it apart within the Ste20 kinase superfamily. The Ste20 family itself is quite large, encompassing a broad array of kinases implicated in various cellular signaling pathways. These pathways are crucial for controlling a range of cellular functions, including cell growth, differentiation, death, and volume regulation.
