GSK 690693 is an aminofurazan-derived, low-nanomolar, ATP-competitive pan-Akt kinase inhibitor (IC50 values: Akt1 = 2 nM, Akt2 = 13 nM and Akt3 = 9 nM). GSK 690693 also exhibits some inhibition for AMPK, PKA and PAK and PKC isoforms (IC50 < 100 nM). GSK 690693 has been shown to producte antiproliferative and apoptotic effects in tumor cell lines.
