SNX31 Activators

Sorting Nexin 31 (SNX31) is part of the sorting nexin family, which plays a critical role in intracellular trafficking, endocytosis, and cell signaling. These proteins are characterized by their Phox-homology (PX) domain that binds phosphoinositides, essential for targeting to membrane surfaces. SNX31, like its family members, is implicated in the regulation of vesicular transport and may influence the sorting of proteins to various cellular compartments.Though less characterized than other sorting nexins, SNX31 is thought to participate in the dynamic remodeling of cellular membranes, a process integral to maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to environmental cues.
