SIRP-β1 Activators

SIRP-β1 Activators consist of chemical compounds that, through their interaction with various cellular signaling pathways, facilitate the functional enhancement of SIRP-β1. Forskolin, by increasing cAMP levels, indirectly leads to the activation of PKA, which can phosphorylate SIRP-β1, thereby enhancing its involvement in immune cell signaling. PGE2 and Adenosine function through their specific receptors, EP and A2A respectively, to initiate signaling cascades that increase the activity of kinases, which in turn can directly phosphorylate SIRP-β1, consequently augmenting its function in immune response modulation.

Anandamide and S1P, through cannabinoid and S1P receptors, activate kinases that are capable of enhancing SIRP-β1's phosphorylation and activity within immune regulatory pathways. Similarly, UTP and LPA, by engaging P2Y and LPA receptors, initiate signaling events that lead to kinase activation, which may result in the phosphorylation and subsequent functional enhancement of SIRP-β1's role in immune cell communication.
