Rec8 Inhibitors

Rec8 inhibitors, in a broad sense, consist of chemicals that can interfere with the process of cell division, especially the separation of sister chromatids, a process where Rec8 plays a crucial role. Nocodazole, Paclitaxel, Colchicine, Vinblastine, Vincristine, and Griseofulvin all disrupt microtubule dynamics, which are essential for pulling sister chromatids apart during cell division.
