RBM13 Activators

RBM13, also known as RNA Binding Motif Protein 13, is a member of the RNA-binding protein family, characterized by their ability to interact with RNA molecules through various structural motifs. The "RB" in its name denotes "RNA-binding," while the "M" stands for "motif," and the "13" is a numerical designation within the family. RBM13 is encoded by the gene RBM13 in humans.This protein plays a pivotal role in post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, including RNA splicing, stability, transport, and translation. The functions of RBM proteins are critical for the correct processing of pre-mRNA into mature mRNA. RBM13, specifically, contains RNA recognition motif (RRM) domains, which are known to mediate its interaction with RNA.
